NSCN(IM) pushes for final solution with government of India with an eye towards Christmas

 |

Its a few months to go before the Christmas and there is speculation if this time around there will be some solution to the never ending dialogue between the NSCN and the Government of India over the Naga Peace talks.

'With Isak Swu no longer amidst us we are counting on Muivah' says one NSCN (IM) Kilonser while admitting that amongst his cadres patience is running out .

'Its been close to two decades and we have just been given assurances that the solution is in sight' says Lungrei S , a resident of Ukhrul in Manipur while stating that they believe that this Christmas there will be end to the prolong discussion

There have been murmurs that Muivarh who is himself 83 will be pushing for an early solution and has given indication that there is something in the offing for the Naga People during the Christmas Festivities.

NSCN  which has an ageing leadership will also like to ensure that in the lifetime of its comrades a lasting solution is drafted and implemented, but according to GOI  officials there are many hurdles which keep on creeping up as India is keen to discuss this under framework of the India constitution .
