Naga’s from all spheres of life hail Neichute Doulo as he wins Social Entrepreneur of the year

Neichute Doulo of Entrepreneurs Associate, Kohima has won the Social Entrepreneur of the Year award organized by the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship, the sister organization of the World Economic Forum and the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation.

Doulo hails from the Chakhesang tribe amongst the Naga's and there have been several people from different spheres of Naga Society hailing his award.

'Proud for us Chakhesangs and the Nagas as a whole… so many who work for people but EA has steadily shown progress in helping grassroots people and turn them into real entrepreneurs' said Rozelle Mero .

Doulo won ahead of other finalists such as Shanti Raghavan and Dipesh Sutariya of EnAble India, Bengaluru, Vikas Shah of WaterHealth India Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad, Mrinalini Kher of Yuva Parivartan/Kherwadi Social Welfare Association (KSWA), Mumbai and Hilmi Quraishi and Subhi Quraishi of ZMQ, New Delhi.

Mr. Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road, Transport, Highways and Shipping was the Chief Guest and presented the award.

According to the Jubilant Bhartia Foundation website, the winner will be included in the Schwab Foundation network and benefits include access to a peer community of social entrepreneurs, services such as pro-bono consulting and legal advice, as well as scholarships to executive education courses at world-class institutions.
