Meghalaya:Under Pressure Mukul Sangma convenes CLP meeting at his residence before Assembly session

In a move to show unity and also keep its flock intact Chief Minister Mukul Sangma has convened a meeting of he Congress legislature party on wednesday .

The Assembly session is due to start and it is believed that this meet maybe be to ascertain the mood of the MLA's in the party.

It maybe mentioned that there are reports that the opposition has asked for a no confidence move against the speaker AT Mondol .

This motion if passed may pave the way for a new government under a new Chief Minister said one opposition MLA.

Meanwhile the rumour which came out in a section of media that Ronnie V  Lyngdoh had met the Chief Minister along with 3 legislators to ensure another reshuffle in the ministry has been cleared by all the parties concerned.

It is believed that the meeting did take place but for upcoming MLA schemes in their constituencies and not about ministerial posts.

The lone NCP Mla Sanbor Shullai also will be likely given more responsibilities as a token of appreciation  for his support to the government said sources close to the Chief Ministers office.
