LIN LAISHRAM – MANIPUR

Lin Laishram is an actress and model, born in Manipur. She recently played Mary Kom's childhood friend and a boxer in the film 'Mary Kom'. Some sources say that she even auditioned for the lead role in the movie.

Lin is a Sophia College graduate. She worked in Naseeruddin Shah's theatre group and studied at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York.

Lin's stunning oriental looks made her the cynosure of all eyes, an eye-candy for photographers and designers.

Apart from her acting credentials, she modelled for Tarun Tahiliani and Shantanu-Nikhil, and has also featured in the Kingfisher calendar.She will also be seen in Vishal Bhardhawaj latest movie Rangoon which is based 2nd world war time love story

REEMA DEBNATH – TRIPURA

Tripura born and bred Reema Debnath, now a professional in Mumbai's television industry made her first big debut with Salman and Kareena in Bodyguard, playing a North Indian damsel.

Born in Agartala and having completed her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya and Management post-graduation from Kolkata, she started her acting career with television soap Chandramukhi among many other serials. Among the hundreds to audition for one of the roles in the film 'Bodyguard', Reema was 86th in the list. With her performance into mainstream cinema, sharing space with Salman and Kareena, Reema has not only silenced her critics, but won over her family, who weren't entirely happy with her decision to move to acting as a career.

GEETANJALI THAPA – SIKKIM

Geetanjali, a National award winner, was born in Gangtok, Sikkim. She won the Mega Miss North East 2007 beauty pageant held at Guwahati, Assam.

Geetanjali's debut short English film was Myth (2006) that was made in Sikkim, directed by Prashant Rasaily, when she was still in school. Her first Hindi film was 'Tina Ki Chaab'i in the year 2010 with Ranvir Shorey. Her next film I.D. directed by Kamal K.M. got her two international awards for best actress.

She did some TV commercials, including a L'Oreal ad with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and also won the Best Actress award for the film Liar's Dice at the New York Indian Film Festival 2014.
