NEET postpones exam amid rising COVID-19 cases

1,74,886 candidates have registered for NEET PG 2021 exam.

The Government of India on Thursday has postponed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Postgraduate exam, because of a surge of COVID-19 cases.

The exam was earlier scheduled to be held on April 18. 

Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan said that they will decide the next date later.

“Decision has been taken keeping (the) wellbeing of our young medical students in mind,” he added.

1,74,886 candidates have registered for NEET PG 2021 exam.
