Founding member of NE Helping Hands, Kuldeep Chana dies of COVID

Kuldeep Chana, founding member of Helping Hands and In-charge of Punjabi Bagh Crematorium recently passed away because of COVID related complications.

It may be mentioned that Kuldeep Chana has donated blood several times for the NE Blood Bank and have stood with the people of the North-East during the gruesome killing of Nido Tania and was a great help during the mass exodus of people from North-East in Bangalore.

“As in-charge of Crematorium Punjabi Bagh, he cremated 750 dead bodies in his lifetime with religious fervour,” said Robin Hibu, IPS.

President of Helping Hands, Robin Hibu also said the North-East people in Delhi have honoured him with a Naga Shawl and a Letter of Appreciation during the Helping Hands thanksgiving function.
