DRDO sets up COVID-19 facility in Delhi

Over 24,000 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the last 24 hours, the highest single-day surge in the national capital to date.

NEW DELHI:
Amid the nationwide surge in COVID-19 cases, the Defence and Research Development Organisation (DRDO) has set up a facility with oxygen beds and ventilators in New Delhi.
The free-of-cost facility has basic testing facilities and air conditioning as prescribed by the World Health Organisation (WHO).
Sources stated that if a patient goes into neuro or cardiac arrest, they will transfer the patient to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
We may note that over 24,000 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the last 24 hours, the highest single-day surge in the national capital to date.
There are now 69,799 active cases in Delhi.
The total cases now stand at 8,27,998, with 7,46,239 recoveries and 11,960 fatalities.
