Today is the day, the people of Sikkim, opted for democracy.#CMOSikkim #StateDay
Every year, on the 16th of May, the State of Sikkim celebrates State Day, as it was on this day in 1975 that Sikkim became the 22nd State of the Indian Union.
Keeping the present situation of the Covid-19 pandemic and social distancing protocol into consideration, this year, the State level function was shortened and restricted to the outdoors.
