Exploiting B’desh infrastructure, Tripura to be logistic hub in Northeast India: Governor

Tripura Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki on Friday said that utilising the infrastructure of neighbouring Bangladesh, Tripura would be a logistic hub in the North-East comprising eight states.
Addressing the opening day of the week-long Exploiting B'desh infrastructure, Tripura to be logistic hub in northeast India: GovernorBudget session of the Tripura assembly, the governor said the state would be linked with the Bangladeshi ports, roadways and railway networks in near future making the state as a "logistic hub" in the entire northeastern region of India.
Solanki said that construction of "Maitri Setu" (friendship bridge) over the Feni river in southern Tripura and its connectivity with Chittagong and Mongla ports would make Tripura a logistic hub.
