The Department of Pathology, NEIGRIHMS, Shillong will conduct a "Walk-In-Interview" on 4th November, 2019 in the Seminar Room, Department of Pathology, NEIGRIHMS from 10:00 am onwards to select qualified person for the post of Junior Research Fellow purely on contractual basis under the Project entitled, "Prevalence of hemoglobinopathies in indigenous tribes of Meghalaya with genetic analysis and study on the role of geneticmodifiers" under funding of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India with following details :-

Post Name:- Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
No of posts:- 1 (One)
Educational Qualification:- Postgraduate degree in basic science (Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Zoology/ Biotechnology) with NET qualification or graduate degree in professional course with NET qualification or postgraduate in professional course.
Desirable:- Knowledge of DNA extraction and PCR
Upper age limit:- 35 years (relaxable for ST/SC/OBC/PH as per rules).
Salary:- JRF with NET qualification Rs. 25000/- pm+ 20% HRA and JRF without NET qualification shall be Rs. 12000 pm + HRA
Duration of the project:- 08 months
