Application are inviteed from eligible candidates for the post of Project Coordinator, Programme Officer, Project Assistants and Field Assistant under the DST funded project entitled "Setting up of a Technology Demonstration Centre in Meghalaya on a Value Chain approach" on a contractual basis for a period of one year.

Upper age limit:- 35 years as on the last date of application. Age relaxation will be given to the candidates as per Govt. of India rules.
Salary:- Rs. Rs. 55,000/- per month.
Educational Qualification and Experience:– Ph.D. in Engineering/ Sciences with a minimum of 5 years of experience in handling and implementing S&T based projects/ Programs for societal application. - Post Name:- Programme Officer
No of posts:- 1
Upper age limit:- 35 years as on the last date of application. Age relaxation will be given to the candidates as per Govt. of India rules.
Salary:- Rs. Rs. 37,000/- per month.
Educational Qualification and Experience:- Ph.D. in Engineering/ Sciences with a minimum of 3 years of experience in handling and implementing S&T based projects/ Programs for societal application. - Post Name:- Project Assistants
No of posts:- 2
Upper age limit:- 27 years as on the last date of application. Age relaxation will be given to the candidates as per Govt. of India rules.
Salary:- Rs. Rs. 15,000/- per month.
Educational Qualification and Experience:- Graduate in Sciences/ Social Sciences with a minimum of 2 years experience in S&T project activity and field survey. - Post Name:- Field Assistants

Upper age limit:- 27 years as on the last date of application. Age relaxation will be given to the candidates as per Govt. of India rules.
Salary:- Rs. Rs. 15,000/- per month.
Educational Qualification and Experience:– Graduate in Sciences/ Social Sciences with a minimum of 1-year experience in S&T local field activities/ works/ skills or 10+2 in science with 2-year experience in S&T local field activities/ works/ skills.

Posting can be anywhere within the state of Meghalaya. The engagement is purely temporary and the initial appointment will be made for a period of 1 (One) Year which may be extended on the basis of the assessment of the candidate's performance subject to the discretion of the Competent Authority and on the requirement of the Council.
