Applications are invited from eligible Male/Female candidates for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT- 01/2019) for Flying Branch and Ground Duties (Technical and Non-Technical)/ NCC Special Entry For courses commencing in January 2020.

Online examination will be conducted on 16th February 2019 and 17th February 2019 for AFCAT exam. The date for submission of Online Applications is 01 December 2018 to 30 December 2018.

1. Flying Branch through AFCAT

Vacancy details:- 25 (Short Service Commission (SSC) for both Man & Women)
Age limit:- 20 to 24 years as on 01-01-2020 i.e. born between 02 January 1996 to 01 January 2000 (both days inclusive).
Essential Qualification:- Candidates should have mandatorily passed with a minimum of 60% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level and Graduate (Three years course)/ BE/B Tech (Four years course) from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
2. Ground Duty (Technical) through AFCAT
Vacancy details:- (Permanent Commission (PC) for Men and SSC for Men & Women)
Aeronautical Engineer- Electronics [AE(L)]:- PC-24, SSC-32
Aeronautical Engineer- Mechanical [AE(M)]:- PC-10, SSC-14
Age limit:- 20 to 26 years as on 01 Jan 2020 i.e. born between 02 January 1994 to 01 January 2000 (both dates inclusive).

Essential Qualification:-

Aeronautical Engineer- Electronics [AE(L)]:– Candidates with a minimum of 60% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a minimum of four years degree graduation/integrated post-graduation qualification in Computer/ Electrical/ Electronics and Telecommunication/ Instrument & Control/ Information Engineering from recognized University.
Aeronautical Engineer- Mechanical [AE(M)]:- Candidates with a minimum of 60% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a minimum of four years degree graduation/integrated post-graduation qualification in Aerospace/ Aeronautical/ Aircraft Maintenance/ Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering from recognized University.

3. Ground Duty (Non- Technical) through AFCAT

Vacancy details:- (Permanent Commission (PC) for Men and SSC for Men & Women)

Admin:- PC-11, SSC-15
Logistics:- PC-05, SSC-09
Accounts:- PC-07, SSC-11

Age limit:- 20 to 26 years as on 01 Jan 2020 i.e. born between 02 January 1994 to 01 January 2000 (both dates inclusive).

Essential Qualification:-

For Administration & Logistics:- Graduate Degree (Minimum three years degree course) in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
For Accounts:- B.Com Degree (Minimum three years degree course) from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

4. NCC Special Entry

Vacancy details:- 10% seats out of CDSE vacancies for Permenent Comission (PC) and 10% seats out of AFCAT vacancies for Short Service Commission (SSC). Permenent Comission (PC) for Men and Short Service Commission (SSC) for Men & Women.

Age limit:- 20 to 24 years as on 01-01-2020 i.e. born between 02 Janauary 1996 to 01 January 2000 (both days inclusive).

Essential Qualification:- For NCC Special Entry candidate must have NCC Air Wing Senior Division 'C' certificate acquired on or after 01 Jan 2017 is mandatory along with a minimum of 60% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 plus
Graduates with minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent
OR
BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent
OR
Candidates who have cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

5. Meteorology Entry

Essential Qualification:- Post Graduate Degree in any Science stream/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Geography/Computer Applications /Environmental Science/ Applied Physics/ Oceanography/ Meteorology/ Agricultural Meteorology/ Ecology & Environment / Geophysics/ Environmental Biology with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together (Provided Maths and Physics were studied at Graduation Level with a minimum of 55% marks in each).

Interested and eligible candidates are required to fill up Air Force Online Form by using the link https://careerindianairforce.cdac.in, or https://afcat.cdac.in.

Aadhaar Card is mandatory for online registration.

Examination fee for AFCAT Entry is Rs. 250/- (non-refundable) (not applicable for NCC special entry and Meteorology).

Date for submission of Online Applications: 01 December 2018 to 30 December 2018.
