TNT JOBS | March 12, 2019: Employees State Insurance Corporation has invited ONLINE applications for filling up the post of Stenographer & Upper Division Clerk (UDC) on regular basis for North East Region in ESI Corporation.

1. Post Name:- StenographerNo of posts:- 1 (UR-1)
   Essential Qualification:-
   1. Higher Secondary Pass (pass in 12th Standard or equivalent from a recognized board).
   2. A Speed of 80 words per minute in stenography in English/Hindi.
   3. Working knowledge of Computer including use of Office Suites and databases.
2. Post Name:- Upper Division ClerkNo of posts:- 25 (UR-8, SC-5, ST-1, OBC-9, EWS-2)
   Essential Qualification:-
   1. A degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
   2. Working knowledge of computer including use of office suites and databases.

Age limit:- Between 18 to 27 years as on the Closing Date i.e. 15-04-2019. Upper age limit is relaxable for persons belonging to reserve and other categories as per instructions.

Pay Scale:- Revised pay as per 7th Central Pay Commission for the post is Level-4 of Pay Matrix (Civilian employees) with Entry Pay Rs 25,500/-. replaced against Pay Band Rs. 5200/- to 20200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- of 6th Central Pay Commission.

In addition to Pay, they will also be eligible for DA, HRA and Transport Allowance and other allowances as per rules in force from time to time.

Phase-I (Main Exam)

English Language & Comprehension:- 100 MarksReasoning Ability:- 50 MarksGeneral Awareness:- 50 Marks

Phase-II Computer Skill Test

Preparation of 02 Power Points Slides:- 10 MarksTyping matter on MS Word with formatting:- 20 MarksPreparation of Table on MS Excel with use of formulae:- 20 Marks

Phase-II Stenography Test:- Stenography Test for 10 minutes with a speed of 80 words per minute in English or Hindi and transcription of the same on the computer for one hour. VH candidate will be required to transcribe the matter in 85 minutes for English Shorthand or in 95 minutes for Hindi Shorthand for the post of Stenographer.
