A walk in interview will be held on 28th February 2019 (Thursday) from 11:00 am onwards in the Conference Hall, NEIGRIHMS Guest House, Permanent Campus, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong – 793018 for filling up the following posts of Assistant Professor in various departments purely on ad-hoc basis, to meet the urgent requirement of patient care, teaching & training of the department.
Post Name:- Assistant Professor
- Specialty:- Anaesthesiology No of posts:- 1 (One)
Essential Qualification:-- A postgraduate qualification e.g. M.D/M.S or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
- Three years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD/MS or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
- Specialty:- Cardiology No of posts:- 1 (One)
Essential Qualification:-- D.M. (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
- One year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M (2 years or 5 years course recognized after MBBS) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the 3 years recognized degree of D.M. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
- Specialty:- General Medicine No of posts:- 1 (One)
Essential Qualification:-- A Postgraduate qualification e.g MD or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
- Three years teaching and /or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
- Specialty:- General Surgery No of posts:- 2 (Two)
Essential Qualification:-- D.M. (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
- One year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M. (2 years or 5 years course recognized after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the 3 years recognized degree of D.M. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
- Specialty:- Medical Oncology No of posts:- 2 (Two)
Essential Qualification:-- D.M. (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
- One year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M. (2 years or 5 years course recognized after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the 3 years recognized degree of D.M. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
- Specialty- Neurosurgery No of posts:- 1 (One)
Essential Qualification:-- M.Ch. (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognised course) or a qualification recognised equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
- One year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years course recognised after MBBS) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the 3 years recognized degree of M.Ch. or qa ualification recognized equivalent thereto
- Specialty:- Paediatrics No of posts:- 1 (One)
Essential Qualification:-- A Postgraduate qualification e.g MD or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
- Three years teaching and /or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Pay Scale:– Assistant Professor: Level 12 (Rs. 101500 – Rs. 167400) as per 7th CPC with minimum pay Rs. 101500/- + NPA per month and other allowances as admissible)
Age Limit:– Not exceeding 50 years as on 28-02-2019.
