The North Eastern Council Secretariat is looking for services of suitable officers for filling up 17 posts of Stenographer Grade II on deputation basis in the pay scale of Rs 5000-15–8000/- (5th CPC)/PB-2 Rs 9300-34800-plus Grade pay of Rs 4600 (6th CPC) corresponding to pay scale of Rs 44900-142400 (level 7) of the pay matrix as per the 7th CPC. The details of the post are as under:
Method of recruitment and eligibility criteria:
By deputation (2nd method): Officers under the central government or state government or union territories or statutory organisations holding analogous post or with eight years regular service in post in the scale of Rs 4000-100-6000 (5th CPC)/PB-1 Ts 5,200-20,200 + GP Rs 2400 (6th CPC) corresponding to level 4 of the pay matrix (7th CPC) or equivalent.
Period of deuptation and maximum age limit for the post:
Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or come other organisation, department of the central government, shall ordinarily not exceed three years. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
Job requirement, duties and responsibilities of the post:
a) to function as PA to senior officers
b) taking shorthand dictation in English and typing in the computer (English).
c) maintenance of visitors' diary, files and dak movement registers of the officer/sector/section where he/she has been attached.
d) maintenance of tour details of officer(s) with whom he/she has been attached.
e) performing any other task assigned to him/her by his/her officer with whom he/she has been attached/secretary/deputy secretary/director (Admin.) from time to time.
