The Meghalaya Basin Development Authority (MBDA) invites applications from the eligible candidates in the prescribed format to fill up the following positions on a contractual basis. The last date for receipt of applications is 15th November 2019.

1. Post Name:- Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
   No of posts:- 1 (One)
   Place of posting:- Shillong
   Age limit:- 35 – 60 years.
   Salary:- Rs. 70,000/- per month plus HRA & Mobile Allowance.
   Educational Qualification:- Should be a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants or MBA (Finance)/ Master in Accounting, Finance or Business.
   Experience:- Should have at least a minimum of 10 years of experience, preferably in a senior role Should have varied and comprehensive experience in project & government accounting, funds management, accounting or financial management including general ledger management, financial reporting, audit preparation, and financial strategy. Complete knowledge of prudential norms and accounting standards, a thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and statutory audit and compliance requirements Up to date knowledge of current financial and accounting computer applications.
2. Post Name:- Project Scientist (BioResources)
   No of posts:- 1 (One)
   Place of posting:- Shillong
   Age limit:- 22- 40 years.
   Salary:- Rs. 55,000/- per month plus HRA & Mobile Allowance.
   Educational Qualification:- Master's Degree /Ph.D. or equivalent in Botany, Forestry, Agriculture.
   Experience:- Minimum 07 years of exclusive experience in Research & Development (R&D)work in Meghalaya. Candidate with excellent research skills and having Research Publications in reputed national/ international journals would be preferable.
3. Post Name:- Technical Assistant (BioResources)
   No of posts:- 2 (Two)
   Place of posting:- Shillong
   Age limit:- 22- 40 years.
   Salary:- Rs. 30,000/- per month plus HRA & Mobile Allowance.
   Educational Qualification:- Master's Degree in Botany, Forestry, Agriculture.
   Experience:- Minimum 05 years of exclusive experience in Research & Development (R&D) work in Meghalaya. Candidate with excellent research skills and having Research Publications in reputed national/ international journals.
4. Post Name:- Field Assistant (Bio-Resources)
   No of posts:- 3 (Three)
   Place of posting:- Shillong
   Age limit:- 22- 40 years.
   Salary:- Rs. 17,000/- per month plus HRA & Mobile Allowance.
   Educational Qualification:- Bachelor's Degree in Botany, Forestry, Agriculture.
   Experience:- Minimum 1 (one) year experience in preparation of reports, data analyzing, and record keeping.
   Skills:-
   1. Good written and verbal communication skills.
   2. Computer literacy with general MS package, spreadsheet, and data analysis, etc.
   3. The work will entail frequent traveling to the field.
5. Post Name:- Technical Expert (Green Energy)
   No of posts:- 1 (One)
   Place of posting:- Shillong
   Age limit:- 22- 40 years.
   Salary:- Rs. 55,000/- per month plus HRA & Mobile Allowance.
   Educational Qualification:- Degree in Engineering in any of the following disciplines- Earth Sciences, Electrical, Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Renewable or Sustainable Energy.
   Experience:- Minimum 05 years of demonstrated experience and practical knowledge of off-grid renewable energy, preferably with sustainable energy or green energy initiatives. Expert in technical design, development, implementation, and procurement of materials.
   Skills:- Good written and verbal communication skills. Computer literacy with general MS package, spreadsheet, and data analysis, etc.
