Indian Army invites online application from eligible unmarried Male and unmarried Female Engineering Graduates and also from Widows of Defence Personnel who died in harness for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army. The course will commence in April 2020 at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Entry Name:- SSC(Tech)-54 Men and SSCW(Tech)-25 Apr 2020 Batch
No of posts:- 192 Posts
Age limit:- 20 – 27 years as on 01-24-2020 (Candidates born between 02-04-1993 and 01-04-2000, both days inclusive). 35 years for widows of Defence Personnel who Died in Harness.
Salary:- Lieutenant Rank, Level 10 (Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500) plus other allowances.
Educational Qualification:- Engineering Degree (B.E./ B.Tech) for a recognized University/ Institute. Candidates studying in the final year of Engineering degree course should be able to submit proof of passing by 01 April 2020.

Educational Qualification for Widows of Defence Personnel who Died in Harness

1. SSCW (Non-Tech) (Non-UPSC):- Graduation in any Discipline.
2. SSCW(Tech):- BE/B Tech in any Engineering stream.
