ICAR Umiam vacancy – JRF Positions [3 Posts] Walk-In

Eligible candidates are invited to attend Walk-in-Interview to be held on 17th September 2019 at 11:00 AM in the ATIC Building of Hqrs, ICAR Research Complex, for NEH Region, Umiam for the following Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) vacancy under the 3 (Three) different following projects.

1. Post Name:– Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)
   No of posts:– 1 (One)
   Project Name:- DBT project entitled "An attempt to generate transgenic pig though testicular transgenesis or male germ cell transplantation to enhance productivity"
   Salary:– Rs. 25, 000/- p.m plus HRA
   Educational Qualification:-
   Ph.D./ Post Graduate degree in Veterinary Science specialization in Animal Biotechnology/ Animal Reproduction & Gynecology
   OR
   Ph.D. or Post Graduate Degree with NET in Life Science specialized in Biotechnology.
   Desirable Qualification:– Experience in basic molecular techniques & Knowledge of cell culture/ tissue culture techniques.
2. Post Name:– Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)
   No of posts:- 1 (One)
   Project Name:- All India Co-ordinated Research Project on the pig (AICRP)
   Salary:- Rs. 25,000/- per month plus HRA
   Educational Qualification:- Ph. D or Post Graduate Degree in Veterinary Science/ or Post Graduate degree in Life Science with NET.
   Desirable Qualification:- Specialization in Animal Genetic & Breeding/ Animal Biotechnology/ Molecular genetics. Experience in data analysis.
3. Post Name:- Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)
   No of posts:- 1 (One)
   Project Name:- DST project entitled Entitled "Structural and functional characterization of sperm surface Glycans and development of novel Glycine Base fertility Biomarker"
   Salary:– Rs. 31,000/- per month plus HRA
   Educational Qualification:- Post Graduate degree in Veterinary Science specialization in Animal Biotechnology/Biochemistry
   OR
   Ph. D or Postgraduate in Life Science with NET.
   Desirable Qualification:- Experience in Biophysics and molecular tools.
   

Place of posting shall be at Complex Hqs., Umiam.
Maximum age limit is 35 years for men and 40 years for women candidate.
