Meghalaya: Govt. official accused of uploading wife’s intimate video on porn site remanded to 2-day police custody

Shillong, August, 26, 2017: Days after a government official from Shillong was arrested for allegedly uploading intimate videos of his wife in a pornography website, the district court has remanded the accused to two days police custody.

The accused (Name withheld) was arrested on Tuesday night from his residence in Shillong.

When contacted, South West Khasi Hills Additional SP, Rymphang Pde said that they have produce the accused in the court on Friday.According to him, the local court again remanded him to another two days police custody.

When asked if the accused has confessed to his crime, Pde said he cannot divulge anything since the matter is still under investigation.

It may be mentioned that a lady from Mawkyrwat recently filed an FIR saying her husband who is a resident of Shillong shot some photos and videos while having sexual intercourse with her and later uploaded it on social media like Facebook, WhatsApp besides an international porn website.
