Teenager bleeds from her eyes and ears, and no one knows why!

Marnie-Rae Harvey, a 17 year old girl from Stoke-on-Trent in England, bleeds from her eyes and ears – and doctors don't know why.

Although she has seen many doctors to try to find the cause, none of them have been able to form a diagnosis.

It all began when the teenager started coughing up blood in March 2013; this continued for a couple of years until she woke up one night in July 2015 with her face covered in blood. She was bleeding from her eye.

The strange condition also affects her ears, nose, gums, scalp, fingernails and tongue.

Medical specialists have found that she has a "weakened" immune system but nothing more.

She was believed to have Haemolacria (the medical term for tears of blood) but tests have shown that she is clear of the various factors that could have caused it, such as injuries, clotting problems and tear gland disorders.
