Northeastern models create history in Rubaru Mr India 2021

For the first time in 17 years, the prestigious competition of Rubaru Mr India witnessed the victory of three contestants from India's Northeast.

The grand finale was held at Hibis resort in Morjim, Goa on Thursday, the 8th of April. During the event, the new Rubaru Mr India titleholders were elected, who will now represent the country at some of the biggest and most prestigious international pageants across the globe.

Amongst the winners are three young men -- Tseteej, Songashim and Tumken from Northeast India who brought laurels to this part of the country.

The title of Rubaru Mr India Global 2020-21 has been grabbed by Tseteej Shiwakoty from Sikkim, Songashim Rungsung from Manipur bagged the title of Rubaru Mr India United Continents 2020-21 and Tumken Sora from Arunachal Pradesh won the title of Rubaru Mr India Brand Ambassador 2020-21.

Taking to Instagram, the official page of Rubaru Mr India wrote:
"These three very good-looking gentlemen marked their respective state's debut at Rubaru Mr India competition this year and ended up securing the top placements. This has happened for the very first time in the history of Indian pageantry".
