Official ABBA tribute band Arrival enthralled the crowd at Hornbill Festival

All the way from Sweden the official ABBA tribute band Arrival enthralled Kohima music lovers from takeoff till the very last set of their performance with old ABBA tunes on Wednesday night, 3rd December. The team comprises of Leif Olsson on the keyboard, Vicky Zetterberg lead vocalist (founder of the band), Jeanette Norlander lead vocalist and Fredik Bjorns on guitar and vocals.
The tribute band performed more than 10 hit songs which including, I kissed my teacher, crowd favorite 'money', Eurovision song contest 1974 winning song 'waterloo', the greatest 1979 hit Chiquitita, 1975 hit Mama Mia, etc.
The band also performed the song 'thank you for the music' as a tribute to the original ABBA and also as a tribute to Benny Anderson, Bjorn Ulvaeus, Agnetha and Anni Frid by performing the song 'knowing me, knowing you'.

The band concluded their performance with 'Dancing Queen' leaving the crazy ABBA fans quenching for more. The band thanked the people of Kohima and the organizers for the opportunity and said they wish to come back for more of such shows in the future. The concert was opened by local artistes including Colored Keys, Mengu Suokhrie and Viriezhünuo Solo.
Thousands of music lovers witnessed the internationally acclaimed band and the assembled crowd was from all sectors of middle-age to youths.

The Hornbill International music festival was organized by Music Task Force government of Nagaland in collaboration with Pepsi MTV Indies and Northeast today. The event is being managed by Sky entertainment and Nagaland Outdoors' Club (NOC).
