Meghalaya: Garo hills rape case, Policeman arrested!

Tura, Dec 23: The policeman who raped a 17 year old teen has been arrested. He apparently went to Tura before returning to Baghmara a few hours ago where he was arrested. He has been identified as Minhoi Lawai and is married.

The arrested policeman is a part of the 4th battalion and the girl is an orphan taken care of by her aunt.
