Assam: Bollywood Actress Manisha Koirala to share her ‘Cancer Battle story’ at the 3rd Brahmaputra Literary Festival

Bollywood Actress Manisha Koirala will be present at the 3rd Brahmaputra Literary Festival from Saturday, February 9.
The actress, who is a cancer survivor will attend a special session called, 'Healed: Surviving Cancer' on February 10. It is Koirala's personal story on how she battled against ovarian cancer. From her treatment in the US to how she rebuilt her life once she got back home, the book takes readers through her emotional journey of fears, struggles and triumphs.
The event will see more than 100 authors from India and around the globe take part in the event that is being organised by the state-owned publication board of Assam. The event will see authors participate in more than 40 sessions on various topics ranging from sports to warfare. It will also host special sessions on the literature of the ASEAN countries.
