UK foreign secretary on a four-day India tour

NEW DELHI: The United Kingdom Foreign Secretary, Dominic Raab, will arrive in India for a four-day visit on Monday, said External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar.

According to sources, Raab's visit will address bilateral, regional and international issues concerning India and the United Kingdom.

Raab shall also sit for meetings with the Minister of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Prakash Javadekar, and Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal, said the Ministry of External Affairs.

Raab's visit is likely to boost trade, defence, climate, migration, education and health sectors in the post-Covid, and post-Brexit, it added.

He is also expected to meet, Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa in Bengaluru on December 17.
