NEW DELHI:

India is all set to receive three more Rafale jets from France on Wednesday evening.

According to official sources, the jets will land in Gujarat at 7:00 pm and will join the Golden Sparrows Squadron in Ambala at Western Air Command.

The fighter jets will fly non-stop from France, and the United Arab Emirates will provide mid-air refuelling over the Gulf.

“Five extra Rafale jets will be delivered to India by the end of April, in addition to the three jets which are arriving today,” French Ambassador Emmanuel Lenainalso said.

The jets will be positioned at the strategic Western Command and Hashimara airbase under the Eastern Air Command.
