Manipur Cong shows the red card to MLA RK Imo

IMPHAL | AUGUST 21, 2020:

The Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) expelled its legislature, Rajkumar Imo Singh, from the party for six years.

Earlier, Imo Singh, also the son-in-law of Manipur Chief Minister Biren Singh, had voted for BJP candidate in the Upper house polls.

The state's Congress spokesperson Ningombam Bupenda Meitei, said, " Congress party has expelled MLA RK Imo from the party and its primary membership for six years for anti-party activities.

The PCC President of Manipur, M. Okendro, has expelled the MLA. He was supporting the BJP government by involving in anti-Congress moves."
