One CRPF jawan killed, three injured in J&K terror attack

NEW DELHI:

A terror attack at Lawaypora in Srinagar resulted in the death of one CRPF jawan on Thursday.

According to police sources, terrorists opened fire on CRPF personnel who were part of the road opening party duty along the Srinagar-Baramulla national highway.

They injured three others in the attack, police said.

Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Kashmir, Vijay Kumar, informed that the Lashkar-e-Taiba were behind the attack.
