UGC NET 2021: May exam postponed, new dates to be notified 15 days before exam

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the University Grants Commission (UGC) NET 2021 May examination for the December cycle.

Releasing the notice, NTA took to Twitter to announce the decision given the present COVID situation in the country.

“Citing concern over the safety and well-being of the candidates, the Minister of Education has cancelled the upcoming UGC-NET examination." a notification from the NTA read.

The revised dates for the UGC-NET December 2020 cycle (May 2021) examination will be announced later and at least 15 days before the examination, the Ministry of Education said.
