NEW DELHI:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a meeting with the chief ministers of all states and Union Territories on Thursday to discuss the COVID-19 situation in the country.

The PM will likely address a variety of issues, including the latest COVID spike in the country and vaccination-related issues.

Besides this, Modi will also take stock of the measures taken by the states where the cases have been rising.

Last week, Modi chaired a high-level meeting to review the COVID-19 situation and vaccination programmes across the country.

The meeting comes amid a sudden surge in COVID-19 cases in India, which had reported a significant spike in the last couple of days.
