Over 31 crore 83 lakh COVID vaccine doses provided to States/ UTs by centre

The Union Health Ministry further mentioned that more than 78 lakh unutilised COVID vaccine doses are still available with the States and Union Territories to be administered to the beneficiaries.

The Central government has said that over 31 crore 83 lakh COVID vaccine doses have been provided to States and Union Territories so far under the nationwide vaccination drive.

The Union Health Ministry further mentioned that more than 78 lakh unutilised COVID vaccine doses are still available with the States and Union Territories to be administered to the beneficiaries.

The states and Union Territories will additionally get more than 15 lakh 18 thousand vaccine doses within the next three days, Union Health Ministry said.

Under the new phase of COVID-19 vaccination commenced on June 21, the centre has accelerated the pace and expanded the scope of COVID-19 vaccination across the country to inoculate everyone aged between 18-44 years.

As part of the nationwide vaccination drive, the Central Government has been supporting the States and Union Territories by providing COVID Vaccines free of cost.
