India’s recovery rate of covid-19 patients improves to 19.36 per cent

India's rate of recovery has improved to nearly 20 per cent. Health Ministry said that 3,959 patients have been cured so far, taking the recovery rate to 19.63 per cent from the previous 17 per cent.

Manipur has become the second state after Goa to become Corona virus-free in India, with two patients who were COVID positive completely recovering. Goa had seven positive cases, all of who have recovered and tested negative.

Sikkim is the only state which remains COVID free. The state had shut itself from the world early to remain infection free and hopes to maintain its record.

Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Government yesterday declared ten districts as Corona free as they have zero active cases. These districts are Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri, Hathras, Bareilly, Prayagraj, Maharajganj, Shahjahanpur, Barabanki, Hardoi and Kaushambi.
