FACT CHECK: Toyota Company to stop investing in India; Really?

With false information storming various social media platforms, there's a rumour doing its round, claiming that Toyota Company is going to stop investing in India.

Rubbishing this rumour, the Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar has said that the news that Toyota Company will stop investing in India is incorrect.

In a tweet, Javadekar said, Vice Chairman of Toyota Kirloskar Motor, Vikram Kirloskar has clarified that Toyota will invest more than 2 thousand crore rupees in the next 12 months.
