COVID-19: Weekend curfew imposed in Delhi
The COVID-19 positivity rate in Delhi also jumped to 15.92 per cent - the highest among all the states.

NEW DELHI:
Amid rising COVID-19 cases in the country, the Delhi government imposed a weekend curfew in the national capital following a high-level meeting between Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal.
“To control the spread of COVID-19, it has been decided to impose weekend curfew in Delhi,” Kejriwal said.
On Wednesday, Delhi registered the highest single-day spike of 17,282 COVID-19 infections with 104 fatalities.
The COVID-19 positivity rate in Delhi also jumped to 15.92 per cent - the highest among all the states.
On Thursday, India recorded over 2 lakh COVID-19 cases with over 1,000 fatalities.
