1. Manipur board exams postponed, schools & coaching centres to remain shut 

The Government of Manipur, on Monday, announced the postponement of all matriculation and higher secondary examinations scheduled to be held from May 6 and May 5 respectively.

Raj Bhavan, Shillong, has filed an FIR against eight Twitter accounts for impersonating Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik.

 3. COVID-19 update: Mizoram registers 91 fresh positive cases 

Mizoram registered 91 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the state’s total tally to 4,995. 

4. Sikkim: Former CM appeals to people to follow COVID-19 guidelines 

Former Chief Minister Pawan Chamling appealed to the people to follow Covid guidelines and take all precautionary measures to combat the second wave. 

5. Tripura: JRBT to hold competitive examinations as scheduled

The Board stated that all the candidates living outside the state should provide the negative report of the Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) test.

6. ICSE cancels class X board examination

 The announcement reverses an earlier decision to defer the exam, thus providing students with the option to take it at a later date.
