The deadline to file ITR was set for December 31 for fiscal year 2019-20 by the Finance Ministry.
Earlier, keeping in view the pandemic, the deadline was set for July 31 and extended again till October 31.
With people still receiving prompts to file their ITR by December 31, no official response has been given by the Finance Ministry with regards to an extension.
