Mumbai Attack Mastermind Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi jailed for 15 years

LAHORE:
Mumbai attack mastermind and Lashkar-e-Taiba operations commander Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi was sentenced to 15 years in jail by a Pakistani anti-terrorism court on Friday.
The court gave its verdict after a detailed hearing. Lakhvi was found guilty under several terror-financing cases.
Lakhvi, 61, was declared a proscribed terrorist by the United Nations (UN) earlier on multiple terror funding cases.
According to PTI, "The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore convicted Lakhvi for the commission of offences of terrorism financing in a case registered by the CTD for 15 years under different sections of the Anti-Terrorism Act 1997."
Judge Ejaz Ahmad Buttar announced the verdict which was hailed in India as a good move by Pakistan.
Lakhvi was also associated with LeT and al-Qaeda in the financing, planning, facilitating and carrying out activities across the Indian subcontinent.
