Indo-Canadian gangster shot dead at Int'l Airport in Vancouver

According to the Richmond police tweet, the shooting happened outside the departures terminal at about 3 pm, adding that there was one male victim.

In a gang-related killing on Sunday, one Indo-Canadian man was shot and killed by the police at the Vancouver International Airport (YVR).

The man identified as Karman Grewal, was associated with the United Nations gang, Vancouver Sun reported.

According to the Richmond police tweet, the shooting happened outside the departures terminal at about 3 pm, adding that there was one male victim.

The police tweeted further saying they intercepted the getaway vehicle but were shot at by the escaping suspects, though no officers were injured.

After the incident, the airport operation returned to normal again, police confirmed.

An investigation into the incident is on.
