A bomb blast during a football match in Karachi, Pakistan, left seven people injured on Wednesday.


According to sources, the final match of a football tournament was taking place when the explosion occurred.


Though no deaths were reported, the explosion severely injured seven people, police informed.


Police immediately dispatched a bomb disposal squad to the spot following the incident.


“Initial probe shows that a remote-controlled device was used to detonate the explosive that was hidden where the spectators were seated,” police said.


The blast comes a day after 14 people were injured in an explosion during a football match in Balochistan.
