Tripura : Missing minor girl rescued after 13 days, one detained

AGARTALA: A 14-year old was rescued after 13 days as she was reported to have gone missing from her house at Belonia of South Tripura District.The girl was found missing from her house on May 3 and her father registered a kidnapping case at the concerned police station on May 9.

On getting information,police booked her along with a youth from a local businessman's house,the youth,namely Monokroto Das of the same locality is under custody in Belonia police station while the victim is under observation of women police according to sources.

Police sources said that both of them were seen at Bhawanipur under PR Bari Police Station on May 3 but however, they stayed at a hotel in Udaipur Sub Division of Gomati District for the next 11 days.After that, they took shelter at the businessman's house yesternight.
