Tripura: Congress selects 28 observers to review ADC poll preparations

AGARTALA: The Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) has appointed observers for the total 28 Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAAC) constituencies to review the ongoing preparations for the forthcoming ADC elections in their respective areas.
The newly-appointed observers are asked to locate genuine persons who could work for the party to score better results in the coming elections.
The observers would visit their respective District Congress Committees, Block Congress Committees, Congress Cells, Congress Departments and other related subsidiaries to find out persons responsible and loyal enough to work for the party.
The observers are bestowed with the responsibility to constitute a steering committee and booth level election committee by taking confidence from the different subsidiaries prior the ADC poll.
A press communiqué released by the PCC recently, Sanjit Reang has been made the observer of Scheduled Tribe (ST) reserved constituency Damcherra-Jampui, while Rabindra (Dilip) Kar, Bikas Sharma and Tusar Kanti Majumder have been asked to look after Machmara, Dasda-Kanchanpur and Manu-Chailengta constituencies.
Added to it, Ashok Mitra Karbari, Joydani Tripura, Krishnamani Tripura, Sachitra Debbarma, Dipak Majumder and Sripad Shil were made observers for Karamcherra, Chawmanu, Demdum-Kachucherra, Ganganagar-Gandacherra, Halahali-AsharambariKulai-Champahour constituencies.
Saratal Jamatia was given the responsibility to locate efficient leaders from Maharani-Teliamura constituency.
Khitish Bhowmik, Amiya Debbarma, Monihar Debbarma, Keshab Sarkar, Nityagopal Rudrapal, Baptu Chakraborty, Arjun Debbarma, Brajagopal Debnath, Padaram Koloi, Bapi Bhowmik, Mohammad Billal Mia, Bikram Singha, Priti Chakma, Sankarananda Saha, Braja Tripura, Thaikhai Mog and Sanjoy Manik Tripura have been made observers of ST reserved constituencies -Ramchandraghat, Simna-Tamakari, Bodhjungnagar Wakhinagar, Jirania, Mandai-Pulinpur, Pakurjala-Janmejoynagar, Takarjala-Jampuijala, Amtali-Golaghati, Killa-Bagma, Maharani-Chelagao, Kathalia-Mirza-Rajapur, Ampinagar-Rupang Rua, Raima Valley, Nutan Bazar-Malbassa, Birchandranagar-Kalshi, Purbamuhuripur and Silacherri-Manubankul respectively.
