E-office in Manipur set to reduce entry timing of non-official visitors

The Manipur government have reduced the timing of entry of non-official visitors into the Secretariat which include all blocks, wings and buildings both in the North and South block. This is done to regulate the entry in order to ensure undisturbed working of officers and staff.

Chief secretary Dr Rajesh Kumar in a memorandum released said that with the adoption of e-office system, the need for visit by non-secretariat officials should be reduced to the minimum.

The memorandum also mentioned that entry of non-officials will be allowed for only two hours from 11 am till 1 pm on all working days after verifying their antecedents and purpose of visit.

Previously, the visiting hours by non-officials used to be during all working hours on weekdays.
