The 'overjoyed' owner of the vehicle, Sumit Bajoria took to Twitter to thank the Assam Police for their active and well-coordinated effort in catching the thieves in record time.
In my case, it took less than 70 minutes of coordinated effort for @assampolice to recover my vehicle and I don't have words to express my gratitude to them for this.

He further tweeted " For all those who think it is a waste to install a GPS device, in a car or bike, needs to take a look at this thread. A working GPS device which can be tracked in realtime, in the hands of a professional law enforcement agency like @assampolice can help you recover in record time."
Meanwhile, DGP, Kuladhar Saikia tweeted, "Congratulations to social media team of Assam Police and personnel of Baihata Police Station of Kamrup Police for their daredevil act of rescuing the vehicle in record time. This strengthens once again our commitment to be with the people at the time of need."
