Assam CM attends banquet hosted for US prez Trump in Delhi

GUWAHATI | Feb 26:

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal today attended the official dinner hosted by President Ram Nath Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi for United States President Donald Trump, who concluded his two-day visit to India on Wednesday.

Only four Chief Ministers from Indian states were invited to the banquet. Chief Minister Sonowal is the only Chief Minister from North East who was invited for this banquet.

While attending the banquet, Chief Minister Sonowal interacted with the US President also. Other Chief Ministers who were invited to the banquet include Karnataka CM B. S. Yediyurappa, Telengana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao and Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar.
