Two Northeast bands made it to the finals of Wacken Metal Battle, India

The much awaited Wacken Metal Battle East leg, kick-start with Sot Recho from Karbi Anglong as the first act of the night. They have been active in the scene since 2008 and succeeded to deliver a quality sound to the show.  Followed by Jammers Graveyard and it’s to be noted that this band is emerging and has a huge fan following each passing day. They reaped the crowd to the front leaving them to mosh and growl during their set list.

Next in line was Rectified Spirit who played a decent set list from their new Album-The Waste Land. Next in the row was Psybarite, an old school thrash metal band from Assam. Their fast percussive beats and low-register guitar riffs, overlaid with shredding by their guitarist made their set-list an appealing one. It’s very saddening that Rongbin from Diphu met an accident while coming to Guwahati for their performance. But they fought hard and stood up against all odds to play at the show.

Jammers Graveyard and Rectified Spirit were declared winners by Salman U. Syed (Owner, Bangalore Open Air) .They will be battling among all the finalists at Bangalore on 8th July 2016.

TNT congratulate both the winning bands.
