Tripura: Chief Minister to expand railway services from Agartala-Delhi

AGARTALA, April 17, 2018: Tripura CM, Biplab Kumar Deb while addressing  a program ‘Graduation ceremony of Enthusiastic Youths of Various Skilling Sector’ which was organized by TATA Trust yesterday at the Pragya Bhavan declared that Agartala-Delhi Express Services will soon be expanded and talks are being held with the Central government to make the services on a daily basis.

“Including Rajdhani 3 times, the express trains are going to Delhi and I have requested the Railway Ministry to increase Rajdhani’s service for at least another day. I have also requested the Railway Minister to take care of the Agartala-Delhi railway service so that Express trains are available between Agartala-Delhi everyday. The Railway Minister has promised me to look into the proposal and has also assured to come up with a fruitful solution,” said CM.
The Chief Minister was also seen promoting the Queen Size Pineapple convincing the officials of the TATA Trust to invest in the state to buy Tripura’s pineapple.
