Tripura | State organization gets award at national level in SBM

• Sudarshan Foundation receives the third award at the national level in Swachch Bharat Mission
• The national level award has been conferred on the occasion of the 149th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

Sudarshan Foundation, Tripura, has received the third award at the national level in Swachch Bharat Mission after Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh respectively by the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation in Pravasi Bharatiya Kendra in Delhi yesterday.

Providing the information, the district administration has asserted that the national level award has been conferred on the occasion of the 149th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

Minister for Drinking Water and Sanitation (DWS), Government of India Uma Bharati, Minister of State, DWS, Government of India Ramesh C.

Jignani, Secretary, DWS Parameswaran Iyer, and others were present on that occasion.

Experts have expressed due to the massive awareness ignited by an extensive drive of the administration the state has been able to grab the award.
