Tripura | Man held with 10kg of cannabis

AGARTALA | August 16, 2018:
A man has been arrested by the Tripura police on Thursday with 10kg of cannabis.
The man has been identified as Jhantu Debnath hailing from Bisramganj from Chandrapur ISBT. He was arrested with the consignment while he was travelling to Guwahati from Agartala.
Based on a secret tip, Tripura police had conducted the raid and arrested Debnath.
While talking to the media, police stated that the seized consignment worth more than lakhs.
Police further stated that they will continue conducting raid in the coming days to make Tripura Drug Free State.
