"I don't say anything new, I say what has been the reality of my country and motherland for ages. So to those who say something I love them, to those who don't I love them too," he said.

"The incidents prove that people are keeping an eye on what the chief minister of Tripura is doing", he said.

"The focus on the CM of a state is good, just like a daunting mother takes care of her child. So I hope since everyone is focusing on me, it is good for me and I will try to do my best for my state. All I can say is that you will find a lot of people who will throw stones at you but it depends how you use those stone and use it to make roads. I believe in this, just like my Prime Minister. We don't believe in hitting back with the stone," Biplab Deb said.

The CM also said that the incidents of mob lynching in Tripura are not stray ones instead work of those who want to create problems for the state government adding that such elements are working with an agenda.

Speaking to this media house, Tripura CM Biplab Deb spoke on a number of issues including how he was trolled on social media. He also claimed that the sudden surge in the resignations in CPI(M) at the panchayat level was not a work of right-wing forces.
