They further threatened to intensify the protest if no positive assurance comes forth from the concerned authorities. Starting tomorrow, the students would be on complete hunger strike.
The students said, "We want a positive assurance from officials for a permanent campus and don't want to be just manipulated again for some reasons".
Since July 25, the students had been on a peaceful protest with their demands at the campus.
They said even as the State HRD minister and others took up the issue with the Union HRD ministry, no officials from the Centre and State governments have met the students on the protest.
